20KW Electromagnetic Induction Heater with Water Cooled Induction Coil for Melting

Share

Testing Model No. ZG-EH20 Cabinet type Electromagnetic Induction Heater

Input Power: 380V-3P

Main Control Cooling Mode: air cooled

Induction Coil (Melting Furnace Part): water cooled

Overview:

Here we’ve used 20KW air cooled induction heater controller with water cooled induction coil. The induction coil must be cooled by water calculating flowing before the machine begin to work because the heating temperature can reach very high to 1100 degrees and rised very quickly. We tested the temperature rise to high around 2-3minutes. The induction coil can be made as a furnace with insulation mud and wool. We need to pay attention the melting pot, we also called crucible must be pure graphite one, if we use it for for melting gold, silver, copper, etc. And the melting speed can be very quick! But for melting we need to match a proper melting volume according to the melting speed you need. For example, 20kw for melting around 20KGs aluminium with a melting speed of 15-20mintues. It can also be used for melting other metals, but the melting point must lower than 1100C degrees.

20KW Electromagnetic Induction Heater with Water Cooled Induction Coil for Metal Melting

The 20KW electromagnetic induction heater is a cabinet-type induction melting furnace designed for fast and efficient metal melting applications. It combines an air cooled main control system with a water cooled induction coil, making it a practical solution for industrial users who need stable heating performance, rapid temperature rise, and reliable operation.

This model is powered by 380V 3-phase electricity and is suitable for melting a variety of metals with a melting point below 1100°C. It can be widely used for gold melting, silver melting, copper melting, aluminum melting, and other non-ferrous metal processing applications.

If you are looking for a compact but powerful induction metal melting machine for workshop or small-scale production use, this 20kW unit offers an excellent balance of heating speed, energy efficiency, and operating convenience.

Induction Metal Melting Machine Features

Our 20kW induction melting furnace is built for users who need fast melting performance with controlled and stable heat output. The heating temperature can rise to about 1100 degrees Celsius very quickly, and the tested temperature rise time is only around 2 to 3 minutes.

Key advantages include:

  • ·   Fast heating speed for high-efficiency metal melting

  • ·   Water cooled induction coil for stable furnace operation

  • ·   Air cooled control cabinet for easy maintenance and practical use

  • ·   380V 3-phase input power for industrial compatibility

  • ·   High melting temperature up to 1100°C

  • ·   Suitable for gold, silver, copper, aluminum, and other metals

  • ·   Compact cabinet-type design for easy installation

  • ·   Ideal for small foundry, workshop, laboratory, and metal recycling use

The induction coil can also be built into a furnace structure with insulation mud and wool, helping improve thermal efficiency and maintain the working temperature more effectively.

Working Principle

This electromagnetic induction melting machine works by converting electrical energy into heat through electromagnetic induction. Once the induction coil starts operating, the crucible and surrounding metal material absorb heat rapidly, allowing fast and direct melting.

Because the heating temperature can rise very quickly, the induction coil must be water cooled before the machine begins to work. This cooling structure helps protect the coil, maintain stable operation, and extend equipment service life.

For melting applications, the crucible must be made from pure graphite material. This is especially important when melting precious metals such as gold and silver, or industrial metals like copper and aluminum.

Melting Capacity

The proper melting volume depends on the metal type, melting speed requirement, and target production efficiency.

For example, with this 20kW induction furnace, the machine can melt around 20kg of aluminum in approximately 15 to 20 minutes. It can also be used for other metals, as long as the melting point is below 1100°C.

If your production needs faster melting speed or larger capacity, we can help you select a more suitable power model based on your required output.

Applications

This induction furnace for metal melting is suitable for a wide range of industrial and commercial applications, including:

  • ·   Gold melting

  • ·   Silver melting

  • ·   Copper melting

  • ·   Aluminum melting

  • ·   Precious metal refining

  • ·   Jewelry workshop melting

  • ·   Foundry and casting operations
